I can't remember when I created my last blog. It's been that long. I get frustrated dealing with technology and all that it requires to try and gain any type of following or interest online. I spent way too much money to try and get real help with increasing my SEO, which didn't help at all. Once that contract ended, I decided to take a little break from the demands of keeping up with everything in this virtual world of ours.
I spend most of my time creating art from my photographs with the amazing tools from Photoshop. That means a lot of sitting and screen time as I work on piecing the puzzles together to create what I imagine. I don't use AI for ideas. I don't type in what I see in my imagination and wait for AI to produce something. I do it myself. I go through thousands of images I have photographed or collected and scanned and putting the puzzle together begins.
Creating art provides sanctuary to me and it's always there for me. Emotions and ideas are waiting to be discovered, expressed and shared with others.
I created "Catching My Breath" when I was feeling overwhelmed. I felt like I was getting lost in distractions that were pulling me away from my art. This image came together and truly helped me to pull myself together and get back to my art.
If you have dreams you truly want to make happen; take time to weed out the distractions. Take time to let your imagination take you wherever you may want to go and never feel guilty about it. This is the best self-care you can give yourself.
